Today is my dad's 50th birthday, yes the big five O, same as Malaysia's birthday. Went to our usual Japanese restaurant for dinner as celebration. Unlike usual, we had some warm sake today. Haha. Taste like sweet rice wine but it do warm your body up, especially in a chilling rainy day, it feels good. But we order the small one, so can only pour like 4 tiny cups. The cup is really tiny, like those masak-masak toy teacup.

Because today is special day for my dad, so we ordered something special too. Order this cold cut sashimi that come in big bucket filled with ice below and the sashimi on top. They even put rotating tray below it. Like so grand! Haha. The waitress recommend a fish called Yellow Valley Tail, which turn out to be really good. Bet those of you who loves sashimi so much will loves this. It ways better than any of the sashimi i've have tasted so far. Serious. But it do come with a heavy price tag lah. Lol.

We ordered some unagi rolls and spicy seafoof hot pot also. The spicy hot pot is quite spicy and sour, something like kimchi soup but with extra hotness in it. Suitable for people who love spicy stuff.

I had this rice set which consist of tempura vege and prawn plus rice. They called it Tendon set. Haha. It was quite nice, yet filling. And it is quite cheap too.

Overall, it was a superb dinner, everyone go back with a happy and stuffed tummy.

Oh, beside dinner, i met up with Rena, Beng Hay, Li Cher and Li Hui at Midvalley this afternoon. Apparently, Li Cher and Li Hui come up to attend some exhibition on biotech industry so the 4 of them come up to lepak for a day. Gosh, super long time didn't see them already, but one thing for sure, ah Hui still the same siao cha boh she was before. Nothing bout them have changed, all still the same. Can't wait to go back Melaka this weekend. Gonna meet up with people that i haven't seen for century. Erm... okay, maybe not to the extend of century but it really felt that long. Hehe.

Last but not least, a belated birthday wishes to Alan, Khye Vee, Jin Xiang, Diane and Elaine. (hope i didn't missed out anybody).

super last minute planned trip to melaka....

Yes, I went down to Melaka on saturday and came back on sunday.

It was quite a short and last minute planned trip.

The journey was rough, and for the 1st time I experienced the iGallop(you feel like riding on horse) effect while sitting in a car. =)

Due to the enormous stress accumulated throughout the entire AMR project, me, Novi, Mag and Cal Vin decided to go down Melaka on a makan-makan trip over our mamak session in Murni. Hahaha.

After filling our tummy with satay celup, we went to Jonker Street for a walk to digest the dinner we had. But it wasn't long that we enter this shop for some dessert. Lol.

We went for some souvenir shopping as well, and Mag got herself some nice aroma burning lamp thingy while Novi brought some laser+touch keychain for the bf.

By 10pm, we headed out to the beach area in Klebang for some local roti john. Gosh, damn long didn't eat already. The one selling in KL kinda yucky b'cos the sardine is so little, and it's full of mayo and vege. Still this roti john the best. As usual, camwhoring session start after we finished the food. But due to my carelessness, i left my camera with someone*ahem*novi*ahem* and someone*ahem*mag*ahem* and they happily deletes most of the pictures taken (mainly is candid shots)so no funny pictures to post here.

Day 2 of our journey started afternoon because none of us able to wake up early. Went to buy some local snack and off we go to eat chicken rice balls. The weather is super hot, and poor Cal Vin fall sick. After lunch, we went to buy some pineapple tarts and we're on our way back to Subang. What a short trip!

Finally, today is the day where we'll see the final result of our hardwork, blood and sweat. Hahaha. Okay, no blood or sweat, just few sleepless nights, overdose of caffaine, dozen of emails replies, and some CB faces popping up. Luckily everything was going well, and thank god the clients is pleased. So what's left now is the final report and off we go for holiday... sort of lah!!! HAHA.

After the presentation, went for some nice dinner to reward yourselves for all the hard work we put in these few days. Went to The Curve and have dinner at Sutra, a restaurant serving Thai foods in Sanctuary Bar. Overall the foods is okay, only downside is the air-conditioning. The air is warm because we're sitting outside and the fan doesn't blow at our direction. Poor Sheryl was melting (literally), plus the spiciness of the Thai food get everyone WET (don't think nonsense k?)... WET as in SWEATING! Hehe.

Had ice cream at Baskin Robin to cooled off the heat we got from dinner, camwhoring there and later move on to the next plan. Sheryl went home after that, so only me, Novi, Maneesiam and Cal Vin left. Went to Murni because Novi was craving for her Ribena special. Chit chat there till 11pm and decided to go down Melaka on saturday. So last minute, just hope everything turn out well. Hope the weather is nice, the traffic is okay. Gosh, so long didn't go back Melaka already, really hope the report will be done early so I can go back and have some peaceful rest. Lol.

a busy day

After sleeping for more than 16hours (wednesday 11am, to thursday 3pm) due exhaustion from rushing AMR report (and it is just draft, damn), I finally woke up and instantly I'm busy with stuff.

1stly, got a call from Mag saying that we need extra info for the project so I'm on my way for bread hunting. Seriously bought alot of bread, bun and some pita bread from Tesco. And also some donut from Big Apple, which is for my own consumption though. Nice!

2nd, collect my winning prize from some online contest. Got a pair of tickets to A1 GP Malaysia on 24th to 25th Nov, which is this coming saturday and sunday. All i did was some answering and clicking, the next thing I know, an email was sent to me saying that I won the prize. Either nobody joined it or the tickets is just too cheap that's wht they're giving it out so easily. It's free anyway, so just went to collect it lo.

3rd, went out with Li Wen who just came back from Australia. Have to go all the way to Cheras to pick her up from her aunty's place and went to ss2 for some iced sago. Didn't see her for almost 1year(9months to be exact). Did some chatting and catch up with each other stuff. Damn, I should go back Melaka soon because it seem like everyone is back there already and I'm like the only person not back yet. Sigh

Tomorrow gonna have one last presentation for the project and hopefully, nothing much need to be edited for the report. Time to party!!!

EXAM is OVER!!!!

Finally, exam is over. I'm tired and exhausted. Been awake since wednesday 4pm till now thursday 1145am.

1st thing after exam, went for movie-Beowulf. Erm, kinda disappointed because i thought it'll be something like 300 which is really really good, but instead it is some animated movie. Similar to Shrek type of graphic but more realistic. Overall, it was just a normal movie, think the next must watch movie would be The Golden Compass.

Alright, think i gonna passed out anytime. Tata people.Cheers.

Had steamboat for dinner tonight because it's Novi's birthday! She's 22 this year and yet she didn't behave like one that's why I forgotten bout her age when I go get the cake. Hahaha. But she like the cake and it was quite nice too though we all had bloated tummy because the food was just too much. Greedy lo what else.

Besides dinner, it was like a lecture on real meaning of naughty gifts(facebook application). Gosh, what a lesson!!! And professor Sheryl was like walking wikipedia, don't know she got that kind of knowledge from. Haha.

We also played this communication games, like passing a message from one person to another. Man, we seriously got communication problem, this show things can get really wrong if we simply pass the message around. Sorry ya Sheryl, didn't mean to say those words. Just don't kill me!

I would like to dedicated the following story to my dear friend Jane who lost her hour worth of research work due to her blurness.

Jesus and Satan were having an ongoing argument about who was better on his computer. They had been going at it for days, and God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally, God said, "Cool it. I am going to set up a test which will take two hours and I will judge who does the better job."

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They did spreadsheets.

They wrote reports.

They sent faxes.

They sent e-mail.

They sent out e-mail with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did some genealogy reports.

They made cards.

They did every known job.

But, ten minutes before the time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, the rain poured and, of course, the electricity went off.

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed in every curse word known in the underworld. Jesus just sighed.

The electricity finally flickered back on, and each of them restarted their computers.

Satan started searching frantically screaming, "It's gone! It's all gone! I lost everything when the power went out!"

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all his files from the past two hours.

Satan observed this and became even more irate. "Wait! He cheated! How did he do it?"

God shrugged and said, "Jesus Saves"
