moon cake

Mid autumn festival just over and i guess most of you had probably tonnes of moon cakes right? Well, I've few nice one too. Some are homemade while other are gift from relatives. There are some really weird one too, it's so weird that i actually don't have the mood to take picture of it.

My personally favorite would always be my grandma's chocolate moon cakes. It's filled with chocolate and of course, lots of love. Hehe.

*My ah ma's chocolate moon cake. Delicious!

Another one nicer moon cake that i tried this year would be this cranberry flavor moon cake. Even the look is so appetizing. It taste great also.

After mid autumn, my hectic life is starting. Packed with assignments, report, test and presentation. And also interviews and tonnes of analysis work to do. Good luck to all who having final soon.

another weekend...

I went back this weekend...again! Went back for 2weeks in a row, wasn't supposed to go back this week but quite worried bout the injury my grandma had when she's tripped and fall during her China trip last week, so decided to go back. Thank god it's just minor cut, and nothing serious. And she's able to do mooncake, so i guess she's alright.
Yes, mooncake! Mid autumm is just around the corner, and there are various types of mooncakes in the market. So far, i tried ginseng mooncake, sambal mooncake and tea flavour mooncake. Think the sambal mooncake taste the weirdest! Oh ya, and also my grandma special chocolate mooncake! Yi-Chi-Pang(mean the best in taiwan-mandarin)! Lol. Will post up pictures of mooncakes some other time, and maybe do a review on each. Hehe.
Met up with some friends this weekend, most of them just came back from S'pore. They're having short midbreak. Went to MP with jane and we went to find geo. Hahaha. He gave some info bout optical products which i think is useful. Very useful indeed. After that, went for some light snack and balik rumah!
Just realise something interesting, does yam taste like kaya? Our dear friend jane said this when the promoter hand her a slice of mooncake to try, "This mooncake quite nice, kaya flavour one", then the promoter said, "Erm, this is yam flavour one!" Hmmm... i guess we can't blame jessica simpson when she can't differentiate tuna sandwiches and chicken sandwiches, because some of us *cough* jane *cough* also can't differentiate kaya flavour and yam flavour. Lol.

*Jane having hard time differentiating kaya and yam flavour, that's why she's having headache!
Last but not least.
"HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL TO ALL!!!".
HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE TONNES OF MOONCAKE TO EAT AND DON'T BURN THE LANTERN!

my first focus group...

Yeah, i just attended a focus group today! Lol. Though i'm marketing major student, i've not joins or forms any focus group before. So it is kinda new experience and exciting for me 'cause focus group mean different segment of personnel will be form to discuss and give opinion on certain product or maybe idea. Meet few strangers there but they're nice person, some are quite *cough* cute too. Hehe.
The topic involved today is about watches. So basically talked all about watches, watches and more watches. They do pay people for attending focus group, and guess what they gave? *Jeng jeng jeng!* RM100 cash voucher for GAP. Hooray! Yeah, can go buy slipper already! But i doubt it is enough.

*The office - FJ Benjamin
*The GAP voucher

Went down town via public transport, yes, PUBLIC TRANSPORT! Quite sometime didn't travel that way already but due to traffice jammed so it is safer to use public transport than driving there. Reached there quite early went to walk around that area. Oh, that place of focus group is same building as Luna Bar. Discovered quite alot of interesting facts. Like saw those multi-million useless air-con toilet. Hahaha. Look really canggih and stuff but all not opened for public, so why spend some much and do some little? Haiz... Only Malaysia Bolehhhh!! Bolehh meh?

*Million dollars toilet
*Million dollars toilet's button

After the focus group, went to meet up with teng hock and karen for yumcha session. Went to mamak near hay's house cause that fella lazy wanna go out too far. Thanks to teng hock for sending me home to subang though he stayed in cheras. Lol. And lastly, enjoy mid autumm festival ya! Eat more mooncake!

Yeah, finally having holiday now, but sadly it's only a week. sigh. But i'll fully ulitise it to do meaningful stuff. Lol. Okay, 1st thing i did one the 1st day of holiday is yumcha! Lol. Went to Leo's Cafe in Taipan with cain and novi. Hang out there till 5pm and went home after that.

*Drink from Leo

That place was okay only but their drink got funny names. Like the blue one in the middle, it's called "Hard to Resist". Lol. Think it's funny? Hahaha. The most right one is called "1st Love". Gosh, respect those who cames up with these names. Hahaha.

The next day i woke up so early for saturday man! Think this is the 1st time this year that i woke up at 7am for saturday. Took ktm down to angkasapuri and meet up with cain before headed out to Midvalley. We're on a mission actually, to tapau all the ah pek and aunty that participant in this telekom bowling event called "Gempaknya Bowling". Actually, i'm just representating my dad's company because none of his colleague wanna go so i go tumpang glamous and eat free foods only. In the end, tertapau by those ah pek. Ish, they're bowling freak, all comes with own bowling ball and shoes. Sigh. But it was fun and got nice food to eat. Best part is it's freee!!!! LoL. Went to this thai restaurant called Amarin for lunch. Hahaha. And got prize for lucky draw too, though it's just a towel. Hehe.

*Uncle's best score - 215, but sadly no prize for highest score!

*Amarin heavenly Thai

*The food - their fork, spoon and plate is so damn bloody big and heavy!

*The bar

*The view from restaurant

Later that night i went to my aunty's place with my grandparent. They came up that morning with my aunties to visit my aunty's newborm baby. Baby is so cute, so small and so adorable. Left my phone at home so didn't snap picture of it.

p/s: Images might not be clear but not bad for vga camera already lah.

Well, just wanna wishes them all the best in whatever they're doing, hope they're doing well in whichever countries they're in. I guess, it's good to have friends in many countries so next time when I go travel around, at least there's someone there to be tour guide. Lolx

*After being smashed with his birthday cake

Yeong Ming - He went to Calgary, Canada to further this studies end of last month. Might be able to visit him if I go Canada to visit my cousin in Toronto.

*Liz and Mel during her farewell lunch @ Nando's

Melanie - She left for Singapore today to start her career. Well, at least Singapore is nearby, can go visit her anytime via bus or car. But, during free time, short of "tai di" kaki already. Lol

just another merdeka day...

Though it's merdeka day, but life goes on as usual. No special clubbing session, no special firework watching, just plain yumcha session and movie session. Lol. Cain Juan aka Uncle asked us to over his house 'cause he's home alone and want to do assignment, but we end up watching movie. And he did cooked dinner for us, this show look can be deceiving.

*Uncle Cain working on the kitchen

*Ms Novi, the food taster.

At bout 10pm, we went to yumcha after i sent Novi to work. Gosh. This indian mamak is really good. They served you with all sort of "kuah"! Nice. And they use banana left as plate for most dishes. Clean and original! Hoho. I ordered roti goreng (think that's what it's called) and it look like fried keow teow. Lol. Next time can go there for banana left rice 'cause the dishes there look tasty.

*Roti Goreng, fried version of murtabak.
