singapore trip with family
This trip to Singapore can be described as sightseeing only because didn't do much of shopping or other activities beside go look-see around. Partly because the exchange rate is quite high so after convertion, things are cheaper in M'sia.
Reached there on saturday evening, so half of day gone in travelling already so didn't go any places that day itself other than dinner. Went for some chicken rice near Boon Keng Rd. Quite nice but pricey.
On sunday, we went to Jurong Bird Park. Because the last time i went there with my family, we covered National Zoo already so decide to go for something different. True enough, it was something different. Lots of birds including penguins as well. Nice place but ruined by rainy weather.

*Penguins
*Red flaming flamingo
*Iguana having sunbathing
Though some of the bird are free to fly, most of them are still inside cages. Like the eagle below. I've to put my face onto the cages to take those pictures. Poor birds, can't fly freely.

*Man made waterfall, look real right?
*Some colorful birds
*White stork

After visit the bird park, went to VivoCity to walk around. Though this is not the 1st time there, but the view sunset there is something to talk about. Didn't really shop much because most of the things there is not cheap, and also quite tired after walking whole day in the bird park.
*Staircase
*Simple x'mas tree
The next day which is monday/christmas eve, went to Singapore Botanical Garden. It's huge, and the place is quite peaceful. Suitable for morning walk or evening jog. Quite alot of family went there for picnic, jogging, and some even bring along their pet.
*I like green grass
*There is a couple taking their wedding picture there.
*My parent
*Some sculptures at cactus garden
*Sunset
After sunset, my uncle brought us to a simple western/bakery shop nearby in the city for dinner. The place is called Han's. They served western food and also pastry as well. Most of them are set meal which i think is quite reasonable. Main course + soup of the day + drink + dessert only for 9.80 sgd. Lol
*Random shot
Ochard Road is famous for its christmas deco, so we went there for a look. But it was a big disappointment as the deco is pretty simple, nothing fancy. Worse of all, the whole street is packed with human. Gosh, this is the 1st time i feel so packed just by looking at the people on the street. It's like whole singapore is gathered there. Most of the pictures is taken on top of my car. Good thing bout car with sunroof is you can have better compared to other people.

*Road to Suntec City
After come out of orchard road, we drive toward suntec city. At least the fountain at Suntec is better. Got some laser show but couldn't capture much cause i'm sitting inside the car with my upper body out of the car on the sunroof, while dad was rounding the roundabout in Suntec. Luckily didn't fly out. Lol
