movie review - martian child

tonight's movie plan was decided days ago, but the choice of movie is depend on the availability. wanted to watch step up 2, but christal couldn't make it earlier, and the only cinema that have 11pm show is midvalley. kinda far and lazy wanna get so decided to watch 10000 BC instead. unfortunely, only front row seats by the time i got there, so in the end watched martian child.

surprisingly the cinema is quite empty as the movie itself is quite good. maybe not alot of us want to watch this kind of movie, because the thriller is not as exciting as 10000BC.

basically, it's about a sci-fi writer who wife just passed away and wanted to adopt a son. and he chose this little boy who hide himself in a box, and think he's a martian on earth. i find it quite funny and the whole story line is good. touching, meaningful yet hilarious at time. overall it's quite a good movie, i enjoyed watching it. hehe

after movie, christal went home while me + michelle + li shian went to McD for some nuggets, fries, and drink. stupid McD system shut off their ice cream vendor machine so didn't get to eat sundae, so order banana + apple pies instead :( guess i'll have it some other day lah
